Ophthalmological programme

The JGL vision stresses that JGL is "an international pharmaceutical company with a wide range of brand-name generics, focused on the development and production of drugs intended for the senses."

Focus as the strategic guideline is emphasized through the tendency to concentrate on areas in which the company can be competitive, primarily the development and production of sterile pharmaceutical forms for ORL and ophthalmology indications, in which we possess key competence.

Over the past years, JGL has invested significant resources into the manufacturing technology and the increase of manufacturing capacity, particularly in the sterile solution segment. Our plant is equipped according to the highest standards for the production of sterile eye drops, obtaining the EU GMP certificate in 2008, making JGL a certified, sterile solution producer for the EU market.

Further development of the ophthalmological portfolio will enable the establishment of JGL as a reliable partner to ophthalmologists on the markets on which JGL is present, as well as to licence-out partners - companies to which we offer high-quality generic ophthalmological products at reasonable prices.
