Septogal

Against hoarsness and sore throat

Septogal lozenges are an effective combination of a broad-spectrum antiseptic and natural components. Benzalkonium chloride is a local antiseptic effective against bacteria, some viruses, fungi and protozoans. Its action is enhanced by the addition of natural components such as menthol, timol, peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil. Menthol also stimulates mucus secretion and mildly anaesthetizes. Healing properties of peppermint have been known since ancient times: Biblical Pharisees, for example, considered it to be so important a plant that they took one tenth of its harvest for themselves. Septogal antiseptic lozenges are recommended in cases of milder inflammations of the mouth and throat, in cold and hoarsness as well as for the maintenance of the normal condition of pharyngo-oral mucous membrane. Every 2-3 hours one lozenge is gradually dissolved in  the mouth.

Purgal

Laxative tablets

Purgal tablets are a combination of natural agents for bowel movement - extracts of buckthorn and senna. Due to its content of antraglycosides and active herbal principles Purgal provokes local irritation of the mucous membrane of the large intestine thus increasing peristalsis and accelerating bowel movement.

Purgal tablets are used against constipation. For the best effect 1-3 Purgal tablets should be taken with two or more glasses of water before going to bed in the evening. The effect is expected after 8-12 hours, that is, the following morning.

Before taking any laxative agent it is recommended to omit the evening meal or to take smaller amounts of easily digestible food.

Laxatives based on antraglycosides should not be taken during pregnancy and nursing
