Meralys counts Mediterranean monk seals in the Adriatic Sea

1 min of reading Published: 08.6.2011.

After launching the new Meralys nasal decongestant, innovative and synergistic combination of seawater and a drug whose packaging proudly presents a Mediterranean monk seal mascot, we supported the work of the Research and Nature Preservation Association – the “Sredozemna medvjedica” Society.

The work of the “Sredozemna medvjedica” Society includes research and visiting former and potential habitats of the Mediterranean monk seal in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea, with the objective of establishing how often it appears in this area. The donation will be used for the purchase of an underwater camera intended to trace the Mediterranean monk seal in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea.

The Mediterranean monk seal inhabits clean and non-polluted seas and the support given to the Society and its habitat is also a guarantee of what the Meralys and Aqua Maris are used to highlight – the cleanliness of the Adriatic seawater.
