With the aim of assessing good practices in the period of challenges caused by the corona crisis, comparing them with the best world practices and promoting and sharing them with other organisations on the market, JGL, as the current holder of the Employer Partner Certificate, participated in the project “Excellence During Challenges” organised by our partner Selectio d.o.o. This project identifies organisations that have developed quality management practices in unpredictable circumstances to ensure the well-being of their employees.
The aim of the project is to reward those employers who used the best world practices during challenging times and demonstrated their activities and initiatives launched during the crisis period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are pleased to inform you that according to the assessment methodology we have been recognised in all given areas:
- Agile HR,
- Strategic planning and work organisation,
- Crisis communication,
- Physical health and safety of employees,
- Employee empowerment and well-being,
- Leadership in times of crisis and
- Technological and digital readiness.
Special emphasis was given to “Health and Safety” in JGL practices under which employees were enabled to work from home in a timely manner, with the necessary work equipment and digital tools, while work at the production site is carried out with all necessary protective measures and equipment. As part of “Communications”, the transparent and timely communication of the JGL crisis management team with focus on trust, security and solidarity has been praised. Also, in the sections “Benefits / Well-being and Empowerment” it was emphasised that salaries and employee benefits were not reduced, but rather rewards and bonus payments continued, and a Cafeteria approach to benefits, education and other well-being practices was also introduced.

Excellence during challenges, along with the status of Employer Partner, confirms that JGL’s activities even in times of crisis were in line with the defined values, mission and vision”, Selectio reported after the evaluation.
